LEHIGH VALLEY, PA – An Elizabeth charged with murdering four men in a killing spree June 2015 has reached a plea deal in Pennsylvania to avoid the death penalty for three additional murders committed there, according to reports.

Todd West, 24, pleaded guilty Oct. 27 to three counts of first degree murder in a deal that gave him three consecutive life terms without the chance of parole.

West still faces charges in New Jersey for murder and multiple weapons offenses in connection with the June 25 shooting deaths of 28 year-old Dennis Vega of Elizabeth; 29 year-old Jamil Payne of Elizabeth; 32 year-old Kelvin Nelson of Elizabeth; and the May 18 shooting death of 29 year-old Michael Thompkins. He was also charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses in the June 25 shooting of 24 year-old Richard Marte of Elizabeth.
