Elizabeth Residents Invited to Attend Job Fair

ELIZABETH, NJ - The Elizabeth Development Company will host a job fair, May 3, from 5 to 7 p.m., for residents to interview and fill positions currently available in some of the City’s businesses.

The Job Fair will have several large employers seeking entry-level employees. EDC will also provide job preparation and skills training for those seeking to write a resume, practice interviewing or learn basic job search techniques. It takes place at the  Elizabeth Public Library, 11 S. Broad Street.

Freeholders Honor Elizabeth Police Officers Who Rescued Boy Struck By Train

ELIZABETH, NJ - Two city police officers who rescued a 13-year-old boy struck by a freight train were honored Thursday night by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
