ELIZABETH, NJ — First Ward Councilman Carlos Torres and the City of Elizabeth have announced an outdoor movie night on the Waterfront on August 28.

“One of my main focuses is to bring more attractions to our waterfront,” said Torres, who has also been a part of bringing a playground and soccer field to the area.

Torres began the outdoor movie nights three years ago with “Moana” and the following year with “Beauty and the Beast.” He said that because of the pandemic he wants to have more movies this summer to give people an opportunity to get out of the house.
