NEWARK, NJ - An Elizabeth woman was arrested today and charged with robbery after allegedly stealing from a Family Dollar store in Newark about a week ago, police said.
Tyyonna Martin, 23, was arrested by Newark's Fugitive Apprehension Team for allegedly stealing from the store at 660 Clinton Ave. in Newark at 6 p.m. on July 3, police said.
Police said Martin allegedly stole “various items.” Additional information, like how much the the items were worth or what she allegedly stole, was not immediately available.
Detectives developed enough evidence to identify Martin as a suspect in the incident, police said.
These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
