ELIZABETH, NJ—Upcoming events scheduled in Elizabeth this week.

Menorah Lighting at the Mills at Jersey Gardens Mall on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mayor Christian Bollwage will join Rabbi Kanelsky to light a 12 ft. Menorah at the Bris Avrohom Annual Chanukah Candle Lighting Ceremony. This event will take place at the food court, on the upper level within The Mills at Jersey Gardens Mall and will include arts and crafts, light refreshments and more. Located at 651 Kapkowski Road, in Elizabeth.

Dedication of The J. Christian Bollwage Finance Academy on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Bollwage will join members of the community at the dedication ceremony for the J. Christian Bollwage Finance Academy. The event is located at 447 Richmond Avenue in Elizabeth.

Fourth Ward Tree Lighting on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the intersection of Salem Avenue and North Broad Street, in Elizabeth. Bollwage will join Fourth Ward Councilman Carlos Cedeño at his annual Tree Lighting ceremony. This event will take place at Ron Hubbard Park and will feature holiday music, a visit from Santa and more.

Dedication of The Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical School on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Bollwage will attend a dedication ceremony in honor of the Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical School 9th Grade at Charles W. Harris Academy. The event is located at 425 Grier Avenue in Elizabeth.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Christmas Pagent will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Bollwage will attend Our Lady of Guadalupe’s annual Christmas Pageant. The event is located at 227 Centre Street in Elizabeth.
