ROSELLE, NJ - An annual “Family Fun & Flix” event will kick off another season on July 18 at Warinanco Park, serving up free movies and other activities for families and children.

The weekly event will first feature the movie “Storks,” an animated children’s comedy. Activities for children will be offered at 7:30 p.m. before each movie through Union County Get Fit Kids, a Union County Freeholders’ initiative to keep kids healthy throughout the summer.

The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders organized the four-week event and was sponsored this year by Investors Bank. One day of events will be held at a different location in Springfield.

Each event will be on Tuesdays throughout the course of four weeks. All movies will begin at dusk, weather permitting. People are encouraged to bring a blanket or beach chair, but bleacher seats will also be available.
