Five Elizabeth Student Place in County-wide Poetry Contest

ELIZABETH, NJ – The city can add five, aspiring poets to its list of achieving residents. Five Elizabeth students had winning poems in the 2017 Union County Arbor Day Poetry Contest.

The contest, which was open to students from the fourth to the eighth grade, was sponsored by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders in cooperation with the Union County Share Tree Advisory Board.
