ELIZABETH, NJ — St Joseph Service Center on Division Street will be offering free saliva COVID-19 tests on Tuesday, October 20, from 9-11:30 a.m.
The Union County Freeholder Board has announced multiple new free testing sites as the number of coronavirus cases continue to rise in Union County and across New Jersey.
“We encourage residents to get tested if they have any concerns about exposure to COVID-19, whether they have symptoms,” said Freeholder Chairman, Alexander Mirabella.
Union County also partnered with Union County Education Association (UCEA) to create the UC-TEST program for free testing to anyone who works in a Union County school. The UC-TEST program will continue Tuesday Oct. 27 from 3-5 p.m at the UCEA Headquarters in Clark.
The county will also be offering additional testing in the coming weeks in Roselle, Roselle Park and at Kean University. The Union County COVID-19 portal has further information on next steps after receiving test results
