ELIZABETH, NJ – Stop and Shop announces a recall of Gerber 2nd Foods Organic Pouches. The baby food company Gerber Product Company announced a voluntary of:

    •    Gerber 2nd Foods Organic Pouch Carrots, Apples & Mangoes 3.5 oz   UPC 1500007439   All date codes

    •    Gerber 2nd Foods Organic Pouch Pears, Carrots & Peas 3.5 oz  UPC 1500007431 All date codes

The recall is due to “a packaging defect that may result in spoilage during transportation and handling,” according to a statement from Gerber. 

Stop and Shop says customers may return the products for a full refund.

Goethals Bridge to New Jersey to be Closed Friday Night through Sunday

ELIZABETH, NJ - The Goethals Bridge to New Jersey will be closed to all traffic beginning 9 p.m. Friday, May 18 until 9 p.m. Sunday, May 20.
