ELIZABETH, NJ -- Grace Kane put on a serving clinic to help the Union Catholic volleyball team, ranked No. 5 in the state, roll to a straight-sets victory over Elizabeth on Wednesday at the Dunn Center.

Kane recorded a staggering 16 service points, including five aces, in the first set, which UC won 25-3. The Vikings, now 2-0 this season, finished off the victory by outscoring Elizabeth, 25-12 in the second set.

Kane also finished the match with seven kills and three digs.,

Several other Vikings filled up the stat sheet.

Alexandra Kwasnik had nine kills, five digs, four service points, and two blocks. Olivia Szyszkiewicz had eight kills, seven digs, and seven service points. Abbey Ortiz had 14 assists, nine service points, and four aces. Adrienne Caceda also had a big day with 11 assists.
