ELIZABETH, NJ – Cool Art in June opened with a reception at the main branch of the Elizabeth Public Library June 8, inviting the public to enjoy the work of local artists.

The show, located on the library’s third floor exhibit area, is presented by the Elizabeth Arts Council.

“This annual show – I think this is our tenth year – is a chance to show the diversity of our artists and to encourage others to get involved and get creative,” said Paula Borenstein, the council’s executive director.  

The artists exhibiting: Derek Dent, Raymond Horner, Kenneth Joos, Violet LaVey, Leo Osorio, Ginni Mason Pagdon and Dan Pagdon.
