ELIZABETH, NJ - Mayor Chris Bollwage cut the ribbon on the Bike Depot on May 14, making it the third Bike Depot for the City of Elizabeth.

This depot is located on the first floor of the Midtown Garage, adjacent to the Elizabeth NJ Transit station. This depot, is the first to be located in a major city and holds 62 bikes and has a bike repair station. 

It provides secure, safe, weather and theft-proof storage for bicycles at the train station, and is suitable for commuters, apartment dwellers and students at nearby Union County College.
