ELIZABETH, NJ - Union County Freeholder Vice Chairman Sergio Granados and Freeholder Angel G. Estrada get ready to celebrate the Portugal Day Parade, June 4, with the presentation of a resolution to members of the 2017 Portugal Day Committee.The resolution recognizes and congratulates the Elizabeth Portugal Day Committee on the raising of the Portuguese Flag on June 2, 2017, as well as the Annual Grand Portuguese Day Parade on June 4, 2017.

This year the Elizabeth Portugal Day Parade will begin at Union Square (in front of Carloto's Bakery) at 2 p.m. The parade will be following the same parade route it has had since 1978, and go down Elizabeth Avenue, turning left on South Broad Street, then making another left on Grove Street to finish the parade at the Portuguese Instructive Social Club located on the Corner of Route 1 & 9 South and Grove Street at 4 p.m. For more information, contact (908) 894 - 8277.
