Shop for Father’s Day at Sale or Adopt a Pet at June 18 Event

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption, Inc. is making shopping for Father’s Day easier with a sale at the store located at 1750 E. Second Street, Scotch Plains on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m.

The sale will feature a selection of gifts for Dad, as well as sales on other merchandise in the store, including pretzels and Marci’s famous whoopee pies.

The Best Friend Rescue group is a not for profit organization run solely by volunteers. All items sold in the shop are donated by the community for the benefit of homeless animals. Currently, the group is in urgent need of cat food and clumping litter only at this time for their foster homes.

In addition to the sale, there will be a dog adoption event at Pet Supplies Plus, Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, on Saturday June 18 from noon to 3 p.m. For more information, call Lauren at 908-425-0008.
