ELIZABETH, NJ – Dozen of little, aspiring Peles and Beckhams swarmed all over O’Brien Park, September 19, for a fund-raising soccer tournament to benefit Elizabeth Parent Support Group.

The Group provides needs support for Elizabeth’s special needs children and their families. They provide counseling, advice, and emotional support, help with finding services and navigating the school system, and provide workshops. Another service they provide sports and recreational activities to encourage social interaction.

“They are no fly-by-night organization,” Board of Education member Maria Carvalho. “They do everything, swimming, soccer, whatever it takes to support these children.”
