FREE Yoga Program for Girls and their Mothers/Female Caregivers

At the JFS Halpern Building in Elizabeth
Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, a non-sectarian health and social service agency, will be hosting an 8- week Yoga Program for Girls and their Mothers/Female Caregivers,-- “Strengthening Bonds Through Yoga,” on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM, October 29 – December 17, 2019. The program will take place at the JFS Halpern Building, 655 Westfield Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ. Ample on-site parking is available.
The program is geared for girls 11 + and their mother/female caregiver. Although not a therapy group, it would benefit those looking to deepen their relationships with each other. No yoga experience is required.
The program will be facilitated by Alyssa Reiner, LSW, RYT200 & JFS Yoga Instructor, who specializes in a strengths-based restorative yoga approach that includes mindfulness, restorative postures, and a therapeutic holistic approach to mental and physical wellness.
The program is generously funded through a grant from the Jewish Women’s Foundation of New Jersey.
