ROSELLE, NJ – At the Independent Authors Book Expo authors are scheduled to display, sell, and entertain a live audience with their stories at this free event at Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The children's corner will offer free books to all children in attendance, in addition to a chance to hear authors read their own books out loud while the adults peruse titles of their interest in a neighboring room.

Renaee Smith, the event's organizer, has written and published three children's books and two cookbooks capturing the food and culture of the island of Jamaica. She uses storytelling to teach her three sons and an audience of readers around the world about the Union County neighborhood they live in and the tropical island where she grew up. In her newest book “Who Turned Out The Lights?” She sheds light on the issue of homelessness, which is a growing concern nationwide.

Authors interested in exhibiting their books can visit online at www.iabx.org to register.
