ELIZABETH, NJ – Aspiring students attended the Trinitas School of Nursing Open House on the Elizabeth campus of Union County College April 21, eager to learn about the programs that could launch their healthcare careers.
Sitting in the second row, a young man raised his hand, “Is anything we can do that would make this less strenuous?”
“Going in with your brains,” chuckled Trinitas Assistant Dean Roseminda Sanee.
That’s good advice. The nursing program as explained by Robin Boyd, Union County College Elizabeth Campus Coordinator, and Dean Santee is vigorous and requires dedication, but the group seemed ready for the challenge. A joint program of Trinitas School of Nursing and Union County College, nursing offers two available options, LPN to RN Completion Track for Licensed Practical Nurses, and a generic nursing program for those just starting their healthcare careers.
