LINDEN, NJ - Union County Freeholder Chris Hudak along with other Union County Officials, visited Linden School Number 6 and McManus Middle School on last week to help students fill planters with vegetable gardens.

The event was part of the Union County Kids Dig In! A part of the Garden Grant Program in partnership with GrowndWorks Elizabeth.

Hudak attended school 6 as a child, and said he is “always honored to return there.” The free community garden is to be maintained by students and housed by the school.
