ELIZABETH, NJ – A water main break just outside the steps to the Union County Courthouse Annex on Elizabethtown Plaza has caused the street to be closed to traffic and made pedestrians passage difficult.

In addition, the Union County Freeholder meeting has been cancelled for tonight. “This is a public safety issue,” said Sebastian D’Elia, Union County’s director of communications. “As a result, the freeholder meeting was cancelled.”

The rescheduled date will be announced on Monday.
