Human Rights in the Middle East

The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education is pleased to partner with the Institute for Cross-Cultural Studies & Academic Exchange, Society for Indian Philosophy and Religion, and the College of Saint Elizabeth Center for Ministry and Spirituality to sponsor the keynote lecture, "Human Rights in the Middle East," as part of the International and Interdisciplinary Conference on Human Rights, Ethics, and Spirituality.  Jacqueline Isaac, a human rights advocate and lawyer, will discuss her work advocating for women and minorities in the Middle East. This talk is free and open to the public. Please register in advance.

Defendant Admits to Role in 2012 Roselle Homicide

ELIZABETH, NJ – A third man has pleaded guilty in connection with the 2012 killing of a teenager in Roselle a little more than a month after one of his two co-defendants was convicted in the case, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park announced April 21.

Derrick Dunn, 23, pleaded guilty to a single count of aggravated manslaughter in connection with the death of Damel Mitchell.
