TRENTON, NJ - One of the three $10,000 winning Mega Millions tickets was sold at the Kings Rt. 1 Truck Stop, on Rt’s 1 & 9, in Elizabeth.
According to James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, there were three third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Tuesday, Sept. 3 drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Bergen County: 7-Eleven #26366, 290 S. Summit Ave., Hackensack;
- Monmouth County: Rinal Convenience Store, 546 Park Ave., Freehold; and
- Union County: Kings Rt. 1 Truck Stop, 828 Routes 1 & 9, Elizabeth.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Sept. 3 drawing were: 13, 20, 27, 61 and 62. The Gold Mega Ball was 05, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.
Six lucky ticket holders won $2,500 each by matching four out of five white balls and the Cash Ball drawn from the Tuesday, Sept. 3 drawing. Three of those players added the DOUBLER feature doubling the prize to $5,000. The winning numbers were: 05, 16, 20, 29 and 45.
The Cash Ball was: 03. Moreover, 10,508 other players won $55,875 in cash prizes ranging from $2 to $500 with 2,091 of those tickets doubling their prize with DOUBLER.
The Mega Millions Jackpot now rolls over to $139,000,000.
