ELIZABETH, NJ - There are two tree lighting events scheduled for this Wednesday evening December 11. 

In the Fifth Ward, join Councilman William Gallman Jr. at the intersection of Catherine Street and William Street from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. This event will feature holiday music, a visit from Santa and more.

The Third Ward Tree Lighting that was postponed earlier this week due to the inclement weather will be held at 7 p.m.

At that time, the tree lighting event will take place at the intersection of Summit Road and Park Avenue, with Third Ward Councilman Kevin Kiniery as well as the Saint Genevieve’s Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, Troop # 23. This event will feature holiday music and for the kids a visit from Santa.
