4:30 p.m. - 5 p.m., 50 Winfield Scott Plaza, Elizabeth - Mayor Bollwage will attend an event in honor of National Autism Awareness Month at City Hall. It is open to Elizabeth residents with school-aged Autistic children and all participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information, contact (908) 820-4050.

RIBBON CUTTING OF GROUNDWORK ELIZABETH KIOSK

10 a.m. – 11 a.m.., 408 Palmer Street, Elizabeth - Mayor Bollwage will attend a ribbon cutting for a Groundwork Elizabeth Kiosk at the Peterstown Community Center. For more information, call 908-289-0262.

RIBBON CUTTING OF NEW INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND AT CARTERET PARK

9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Elmora Avenue & Vine Street, Elizabeth – Mayor Bollwage will join the Department of Recreation and Second Ward Councilman Nelson Gonzalez as they cut the ribbon on the new inclusive playground at Carteret Park.

CARTERET PARK EASTER EGG HUNT

9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Elmora Avenue & Vine Street, Elizabeth – Mayor Bollwage will join the Department of Recreation and Second Ward Councilman Nelson Gonzalez at their annual Easter Egg Hunt in Carteret Park, which will feature free candy and prizes. Participants are encouraged to bring their camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. For more information, call 908-820-4220.

KENAH FIELD EASTER EGG HUNT

Noon to 1 p.m., 1149 Fanny Street, Elizabeth - Mayor Bollwage will join the Department of Recreation and FifthWard Councilman William Gallman Jr. at their annual Easter Egg Hunt in Kenah Field, which will feature free candy and prizes. Participants are encouraged to bring their camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. For more information, call 908-820-4220.

SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 2019

ELIZABETH HIGH SCHOOL FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL

Noon - 4 p.m., 50 Winfield Scott Plaza, Elizabeth - Mayor Bollwage will attend the Elizabeth High School Food Truck Festival in Winfield Scott Park, which is located across from City Hall.

MILLER EVANS LOGAN CENTER EASTER EGG HUNT

2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., 161 First Street, Elizabeth – Mayor Bollwage will join the Department of Recreation and First Ward Councilman Carlos Torres at their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Miller Evans Logan Center, which will feature free candy and prizes. 

Participants are encouraged to bring their camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This event is sponsored by the City of Elizabeth, Councilman Torres, Freeholder Sergio Granados, School Board Commissioners Nathalie Hernandez and Iliana Chevres and the Elizabeth Parent Support Group.
