FIRE PROMOTION CEREMONY

Officials and members of the Fire Department at a promotion ceremony.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 3, 2019

SWEARING IN OF NEW POLICE RECRUITS & SERGEANT PROMOTIONS

(11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 50 Winfield Scott Plaza, Elizabeth) — Mayor Bollwage will join Council Members, City Officials and members of the Police Department at the swearing-in ceremony for twenty-nine (29) new police recruits in Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall. They will receive six months of training at the John H. Stamler Union County Police Academy. Promotions for two police sergeants will also take place.

UNION COUNTY ANNUAL REORGANIZATION MEETING

(12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., 2 Broad Street, Elizabeth) — The County of Union’s Annual Reorganization Meeting will be held at the Union County Courthouse.
