MONDAY, MAY 20

CUBAN FLAG RAISING

(6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., 50 Winfield Scott Plaza, Elizabeth) Mayor Bollwage will join members of the Elizabeth Cubanos Lions Club as well as members of the Cuban community and Elizabeth residents for the Cuban flag raising ceremony in front of City Hall.

TUESDAY, MAY 21

PEPSICO ROLLING REMEMBRANCE RELAY

(10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 650-672 Kapkowski Road, Elizabeth) - Mayor Bollwage will attend the Pepsico Rolling Remembrance Relay in honor of veterans and military families at IHOP. Coinciding with National Military Appreciation Month, this event raises funds and awareness for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. The ceremony will include remarks from scholarship recipients/dignitaries, presentation by the Color Guard and more.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 22

ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON

(12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., 943 Magie Avenue, Union) - Mayor Bollwage will attend the Rotary Club of Elizabeth’s Scholarship Luncheon at the Garden Restaurant. The Albert & Louise Davis Scholarship Fund provides scholarship grants to public high school students. It enriches their lives and enhances their prospects of achieving the “American Dream” of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness through education.

9th ANNUAL SPRING DANCE SHOWCASE

(7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., 310 Cherry Street, Elizabeth) - Mayor Bollwage will attend the 9th Annual Spring Dance Showcase presented by Alexander Hamilton Preparatory Academy’s Dance Department. The show will be held in the Hamilton Auditorium and will be performed again on Thursday, May 23rd at 7:00 p.m.
