CLARK, NJ - Elizabeth based, Community Access Unlimited (CAU) will hold their Annual Ira Geller Memorial Walk-a-Thon on Saturday, September 14, at Oak Ridge Park in Clark to raise funds for programs and services that support people with disabilities and at-risk youth.

The annual Walk-a-Thon is named in memory of Ira Geller, a CAU member who worked tirelessly to raise funds for the agency and its support and services for people with disabilities and his commitment to people with special needs.

The organization is a Union County-based, statewide nonprofit that works to integrate people with disabilities and at-risk youth into the general community through comprehensive support.

Registration for the event will begin at 11 a.m., with the walk starting at Noon. A picnic will follow at 12:30 p.m. The day also includes family-friendly games, prizes, activities and music.

Represetives from the organization say pre-registration is not required but suggested. CAU welcomes individuals as well as teams from local businesses and community organizations to participate.
