ELIZABETH, NJ - The Elizabeth Public Library is hosting a variety of new events for English language learners in the community.

A virtual conversation group is meant to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for Elizabeth residents to practice their conversational English skills. Conversations are held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., usually bi-weekly, but some sessions are held back-to-back. Currently, the final group meeting is scheduled for October 6.

The Library is also holding a four-week nutrition class for Elizabeth residents in both English and Spanish. The classes are being presented by the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
