ELIZABETH, NJ - It's a matter of tradition and for the past 20 years, being a patient at Trinitas Regional Medical Center on Christmas Day doesn't necessarily mean missing the spirit of Christmas.
This year was no different!
About 44 employees, volunteers, members of the community and two service dogs visited Trinitas with the mission of bringing warmth and cheer to patients on every floor on Christmas morning.
Patients were treated to Christmas carols, Christmas cookies, and hot chocolate. Each year, more people have gotten in on the fun of spreading cheer to make sure the hospital isn’t such a bad place to be on one of the most important days during "the most wonderful time of the year."
