ELIZABETH, NJ - An eight-count indictment against two men charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a Plainfield man outside an Elizabeth nightclub last spring, according to acting Union County Prosecutor Michael A. Monahan.

Authorities said, Dashaun Jackson, 27, of  Plainfield and Lucian Faulcon, 29,  of  Scotch Plains, have been charged with murder, conspiracy, and a pair of related weapons offenses in connection with the death of 20-year-old Paris Lee. 

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, Elizabeth Police responded to Angels Gentlemen’s Club on the 400 block of U.S. Routes 1&9 North to find Lee suffering from numerous gunshot wounds in the establishment’s rear parking lot, according to Union County Assistant Prosecutor Colleen Ruppert. Lee was pronounced dead at the scene, Ruppert said.

An investigation led by Sgt. Brendan Sullivan and Detective Matthew Casterline of the Union County Homicide Task Force, and assisted by the Elizabeth Police, Plainfield Police, Union County Police Department Ballistics Unit, and Union County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit, resulted in Jackson and Faulcon being identified as suspects in the case. 

According said in December 2018, Faulcon was arrested at his home on Everts Avenue in Scotch Plains, while Jackson, a Plainfield resident, was served his charges while lodged in Union County Jail on an unrelated matter.

Convictions on charges of this nature are commonly punishable by sentences of up to life in state prison.
