ELIZABETH, NJ - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took the life of an Elizabeth man on Saturday morning. Acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo announced Saturday that the victim has been identified as 20-year-old Jamile Robbins of Elizabeth.

According to Authorities, Elizabeth Police units responding to a parking lot on Irvington Avenue during the early morning hours of Saturday found Robbins at that location. Robbins was transported to Trinitas Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
