ELIZABETH, NJ - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took the life of an Elizabeth teen late Sunday evening.
According to acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo, the victim has been identified as 19-year-old Haneef Brockington of Elizabeth.
Authorities said at approximately 10:45 pm on Sunday, December 29, Elizabeth Police responded to a gas station parking lot in the 300 block of Morris Avenue. There, officers found Brockington with multiple gunshot wounds, and shortly after was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details are available at this time.
