SADDLE BROOK, NJ - Two nature lovers stopped in the park and pointed. It was a bald eagle.

Saddle Brook Park on Saddle River Road in Saddle Brook is a popular walking path in the area that reaches into Ridgewood. Entrances in Fair Lawn along the way are used often, especially on a sunny day.

Jan. 31 was no exception and all one had to do was to look up, through the bare trees and there the eagle was, sitting.

Another eagle flew nearby to the wonderment of the few walkers there at the right place and right time.

"We've been seeing a few lately," the walkers said. "It's pretty cool."
