Fair Lawn & Glen Rock Students Among Bergen Community College Foundation Scholarships Recipients


PARAMUS, NJ – The Bergen Community College Foundation distributed approximately $200,000 to 169 students during its annual spring scholarship awards ceremony May 9.

Eleven students from Fair Lawn and two students from Glen Rock received awards.

Each of the scholarships – funded by community members, faculty and staff – carries its own unique criteria, providing opportunities for many subsets of the Bergen student body.

The Bergen Community College Foundation leads the application and disbursement process, which has totaled nearly $20 million since its inception in 1982. The College has raised more than $200,000 for future student scholarships as part of its 50th anniversary celebration this year.
