FAIR LAWN, NJ – The Borough Council introduced an ordinance for an approximate 2% raise for municipal supervisors and full-time white- and blue-collar employees on July 17.

The public hearing on the matter is scheduled for Aug. 14.

According to the borough officials, if the ordinance passes, Fair Lawn White & Blue Collar Full-Time Association Employees, totaling 86 workers, will get a 2% raise, effective July 1, 2018; 1.9% in 2019; 2% in 2020; and 1.9% in 2021.

The Fair Lawn Supervisors Association salary increase will work along the same schedule and affect 14 employees.
