Oct. 31 - 10:57 pm Narcotics: P.O. John Rovetto initiated a motor vehicle stop on Maple Avenue at Route 208 and arrested the passenger, Aaron Creisstoff, age 35 of Esopus, NY, after he gave false information to the officer and heroin & cocaine were discovered inside the vehicle. He was released after being charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

Nov. 1 - 9:12 pm Narcotics: P.O. Geovanny Buitron initiated a motor vehicle stop on Broadway at Yerger Road and arrested the passenger, Jonathan Ruts, age 31 of Township of Washington, after evidence of drug use was found in his wallet. He was released after being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 3 - 12:29 pm Narcotics: P.O. Tiller Uriarte, P.O. Timothy Ammann & P.O. Robert Belbol responded to River Road near Morlot Avenue on a motor vehicle crash and arrested the operator, Gabriela Skawinska, age 19 of Bethlehem, PA, after she was found to be under the influence of marijuana. One passenger, Matthew Cardinal, age 21 of Elmwood Park, was arrested after a Percocet tablet was found in his pocket. A second passenger, Andrew Rehan, age 21 of Elmwood Park, was arrested when he was also found to be under the influence of marijuana.

Skawinska was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), being under the influence of marijuana, driving while under the influence of marijuana, CDS in a motor vehicle, reckless driving & failure to exhibit proof of vehicle insurance. Cardinal was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Rehan was released after being charged with being under the influence of marijuana.

Chief Glen Cauwels stated all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
