FAIR LAWN, NJ - The Borough Council will resume in-person meetings this Tuesday, July 14 after a four-month online meeting schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing and masks, which has become societal norm, will be enforced.
The Council announced in June it would continue with in-person meetings with the following stipulations:
- The number of individuals at the Work Session shall be limited to 25% of the capacity of the Council Chambers; and
- All attendees at the Work Session must wear face coverings at all times except where doing so would inhibit the individual’s health or where the individual is under two years of age; and
- All attendees at the Work Session are required to be six feet apart from other attendees at all times, excluding a limited number of individuals organizing or maintaining the Work Session.
Meetings will resume their normal times, 7:30 p.m. start time, which has not deviated since the beginning of COVID-19.
