The Borough Council has passed a $2.3 million bond ordinance to fund safety for various departments, including a new fire engine.

On April 25, the borough approved the funds that cover equipment for the Ambulance Corps, Fire Department, Department of Public Works and Police Department. Below is a list of items to be purchased totaling $2.3 million, $2.19 million of which will be bonded.

Improvement of the storm water drainage system and sanitary sewerage system



Computer equipment and software for engineering department

Diagnostic equipment for DPW



Rack truck and sewer vacuum truck for DPW

Utility vehicle for Fire Department

Refurbishment of a dump truck
