FAIR LAWN, NJ - The borough is adding a second weekly garbage collection from September 21 through October 17.

The Borough Council voted unanimously to provide the twice per week service, especially noting students remain at home with distancing learning extended until October 19. With many people still working from home and children at home, the council reasoned, there is the creation of a lot more garbage.

Residents may put out up to four barrels of garbage and one piece of furniture during the second collection each week in keeping with normal garbage collection regulations.
