FAIR LAWN - Women of Action (NJ) held its "Rally of Unity and Peace" Aug. 20 in front of the Municipal Building where a crowd peacefully assembled and individuals offered words of encouragement.

Posted on Facebook, the group wrote they want to "come together to speak out against hatred, intolerance and bigotry."

"Hate has no Home in Fair Lawn. As we’ve seen the horrific violence and terrorist attacks in Charlottesville, Barcelona and around the world, we will come together to unify our community and stop the spread of hate around the country," the group stated in its invite.
