RIVERDALE, NJ – Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey will host G.I.R.L. Conference 2018, a day filled with exploration designed to help Girl Scouts in grades 8-12, and their accompanying adults, broaden their interests in careers, STEM, life skills, advocacy, and high school/college readiness.

An exciting day of interactive workshops and hands-on activities, G.I.R.L. Conference 2018 will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Centenary University (400 Jefferson Street, Hackettstown, NJ), for Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, and affiliated adults. Girls who are not yet members of Girl Scouts, but who would like to attend, should join Girl Scouts prior to registering.

Participants will work to identify the go-getter, innovator, risk-taker, and leader inside them. Girls will be able to choose from age-specific sessions, as well as hear from two extraordinary keynote speakers who will inspire attendees to unleash their inner G.I.R.L. Adults will have an opportunity to take separate workshops in teen development, college planning, and Girl Scout traditions.
