GLEN ROCK - The Borough Council recognized four young women who earned their Girl Scout Gold Award.

On June 14, three days after a ceremony in their honor, Mayor Bruce Packer congratulated the girls at the council meeting.

Sydney Hornak, who taught teenagers in Paterson how to crochet, will have a street renamed after her for one day, July 4, 2017: Hornak Avenue.

Ayano Endo, who put on a multicultural fair in Allendale that focused on the severity of the symptoms of those with special needs, will have a street named after her for one day on Oct. 3, her birthday: Endo Avenue.

Michelle Hillock, who created a Psychology Club for the high school, will have the borough named after her for one day, Dec. 22.

Jennifer Singh, who painted the St. Francis statue, will have the borough named after her for one day, Dec. 1.
