GLEN ROCK, NJ - Parents of Glen Rock Public School students now have options when school is closed, thanks to Glen Rock Community School's Out Camp.

During the NJEA Convention, November 7 and 8, Glen Rock Community School is offering a full day School’s Out Camp for elementary students Kindergarten through 5th grade. This camp ran when school was closed in September and October, as well.

Glen Rock Community School’s camp is in collaboration with TGA Premier Sports. Parents have the option of sending their children to camp from 8 a.m.–3 p.m. or 8 a.m.–6 p.m. for one or both days. The program takes place at one of the Glen Rock elementary schools.

The day will focus on a variety of sports including golf, tennis, volleyball, lacrosse, flag football, ultimate frisbee, cheer, floor hockey, soccer, wiffle ball and kickball. After care will have access to board games, STEAM activities, trivia and more.

“The Community School is confident that this camp will provide a wonderful and affordable service for families who need care during school closings,” said Allison De Meulder, Director of Glen Rock Community School. 

Additional School’s Out Camps are planned for school closings during the year including January 20, February 17 and 18.
