GLEN ROCK, NJ - Do you have an elementary school child that worries or seems to suffer from anxiety? Glen Rock Public School district is hosting a discussion on "Worry in Elementary School Students" that will benefit parents who have children 5 to 11 years old.
The event will take place at Alexander Hamilton School, 380 Harristown Road, Glen Rock on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 pm in the Media Center. Elementary school parents are invited to attend a conversation with Dr. Kevin E. Giangrasso, Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Giangrasso will discuss such topics as knowledge (providing differences between clinical-level anxiety, normal worry and stress), skills (how to identify worry and how to support different types of worry), and resources (where to go for help in and out of school). Worry, anxiety and stress will be discussed at length.
