GLEN ROCK, NJ - WWII Veteran Charlie Ruthberg celebrated his 98th birthday in style today with a drive-by that included the Glen Rock Fire Department and several police cars, along with other veterans who beeped and honked their appreciation.

Starting out at the Main Line Train Station, winding to Glen Courts, where 4 other WWII veterans and their spouses live, and then moving on toward Ruthberg's house on Midwood Road, the caravan of respect was as perfect as the weather of the day, noted by several at Ruthberg's home.

Bob Steinberg, Commander of Thomas D. Egan Glen Rock Post #850 VFW, organized the event.
