In Support of Michelle Torpey for Borough Council

From the moment I first met Michelle Torpey when our children were in elementary school, she has tirelessly been involved in trying to improve her environment in an inclusive way.

She makes everyone around her feel welcomed and important due to her caring and attentive nature.

Michelle is an intelligent woman who realizes that in order for change to occur, you need to fully understand the situation, include all constituents in the discussion, and be prepared with suggestions and solutions.

Initially, she demonstrated all these qualities with her involvement in the Byrd School HSA. This continued at the district level through the federated HSA, with service to St Catharine’s church, involvement in the Boy Scouts, and currently taking action for the betterment of the entire community in Glen Rock.

Michelle has been able to accomplish these things because she is a trust builder and truly cares about people and their concerns. It is for these reasons that I support Michelle Torpey for Borough Council.
