GLEN ROCK, NJ - It's July 4 which means it's parade time in Glen Rock.

The event will take place this morning at 9:30 a.m., along with a celebration of the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage.

The Borough Council gave the go ahead on June 10, deciding it has a place in the 'restart' of Glen Rock. While COVID-19 worries are still with us, it is prudent to wear a mask to march and to attend.

The Independence Day Association, an all volunteer committee, known as IDA, organizes the annual event, and said previously it has to be smaller and shorter this year because of COVID-19, so social distancing is a must.

Hopefully, we'll all stay dry. See you there!
