MIDLAND PARK, NJ – Midland Park Jr./Sr. High School has earned a place on the Advanced Placement Honor Roll–a rarity in the state–for the first time since 2013, district officials said.
“As one of only 21 high schools out of 866 secondary schools in New Jersey named to the Honor Roll, we are gratified to have the outstanding work of our students, teachers, and administrators so recognized and honored,” said Midland Park Superintendent of School, Dr. Marie Cirasella.
Midland Park High School is one of 250 school districts in the U.S. and Canada to be included on the Honor Roll. For inclusion there are several criteria which must be reached, such as an increase participation/access to AP by at least 4 percent in large districts. The first time Midland Park was recognized for this achievement was in 2013.
“I couldn’t be more proud of my students and staff,” said Principal Nicholas Capuano. “This honor is a true testament to their hard work and dedication.”
