PARAMUS, NJ - The Northeast Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is hosting its monthly networking breakfast for business owners from 8:00 to 9:30am on September 12 at the Suburban Diner, 172 NJ Rt. 17N, Paramus, NJ 07652.
The speaker for this event is Ed Gaelick, owner of PSI Consultants, LLC, of Glen Rock. In his presentation, “Fundamental Insurance Planning for the Sole Practitioner,” he will explain why it’s vital for a business owner to protect what they’ve built so they can focus on success and growth. Ed will highlight the plans and strategies necessary to create certainty should unknown risks show up. The presentation will include information on protecting income in the event of a disability; the need for appropriate medical, dental, and vision coverage; how hiring employees affects the insurance needs of a business; and alternatives to traditional retirement planning.
In 1985, Ed Gaelick established PSI Consultants, a life and health insurance agency specializing in company-sponsored employee benefits, business planning, and personal insurance. Throughout his 34-year career, Ed received many of the highest professional honors awarded in the insurance industry. His greatest strength may be his ability to make complicated situations simple.
There will be plenty of time for 30-second intros, exchange of business cards, and networking over breakfast. Advance registration by 9/10/19 is recommended. The event fee, which includes breakfast and a beverage, is $15 for members and $20 for others. Walk-ins are welcome, but the fee at the door is $25 for all. To register, go to www.njawbo.org.
The Northeast Region is generally comprised of business owners from Bergen and Passaic Counties. The region’s events are open to members and nonmembers from across the state.
