FAIR LAWN, N.J., June 1, 2018 – The Fair Lawn chapter of Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, is still taking team registrations for this year’s event, which will be held on June 9-10 at the Dobrow Sports Complex on Harristown Road in Fair Lawn, at De Boer Drive on the Glen Rock border. Details and registration are online at www.relayforlife.org/fairlawnnj. Individuals, families and businesses can form teams. This year’s event is being held in coordination with the Glen Rock committee.

During Relay, team members take turns walking around a track continuously to signify that cancer never sleeps. Teams also set up themed campsites and continue fundraising by collecting donations during the event and through the end of August. There will be entertainment, a tricky tray, games and activities during Relay, which is staffed and coordinated by volunteers from the community.
